A painter from Morelos, the third generation of painters in his family. He worked landscape alongside his father for some twelve years before turning to abstraction; he studied art at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and lived a couple of years in Vancouver, where he came close to abstract painting. He paints in mixed media — oil and acrylic with brush and palette knife, on wood or on canvas with marble dust. In 2019 he presented at the Víctor Manuel Contreras gallery of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos an exhibition for the centenary of Emiliano Zapata’s death, later taken to the Foreign Ministry.
