Port of Veracruz, 1932 — 1991. He trained at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas, in the Polytechnic’s experimental workshop, in the Bellas Artes workshop of plastic integration and at La Esmeralda. He was a painter, stage designer, textile designer, exhibition designer and illustrator for newspapers and magazines, and between 1966 and 1968 wrote art criticism for El Universal. Between 1958 and 1988 he held at least twenty-five solo exhibitions, in Mexico and abroad. He received the prize of the Instituto Nacional de la Juventud Mexicana in 1964 and was a member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, in whose «Nuevos Valores» show he had taken part as early as 1957. From 1967 comes the portrait of the engineer Leandro Fernández that he painted for the Ministers’ Gallery of the communications ministry.
