Mexico City, 1923 — Cuernavaca, Morelos, 1983. He painted scenes of everyday life in oil — markets, flower sellers, landscape — and also worked in ink and watercolour. He kept his own workshop, where the painter Alberto Vázquez Navarrete worked alongside him for eleven years.
